Travelling to Seymour

Seymour is connected to Victoria by a diverse transportation network. Seymour is serviced by V/line with 21 train services between Melbourne and Seymour per day, as well as services to Shepparton, Albury-Wodonga and Sydney. The Hume Freeway, Goulburn Valley Highway and Northern Highway also link Seymour to the states wider road network.

Travelling by Road

Escaping Melbourne and enjoying the country side has never been so easy, Seymour can be reached from Australia’s eastern Capital cities via the Hume Freeway 1 hour (100km) north of Melbourne, 5 Hours (550 km) from Canberra and 8 hours (760 km) from Sydney.

Seymour can also be reached from regional towns on the Goulburn Valley Highway from Shepparton, Yea and Mansfield. The McIvor Highway and Northern Highway also links Bendigo, Tooborac and the Heathcote Wine Region to Seymour.

Travelling by Train

V/Line services run from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Seymour regularly with 21 services per day as well as services to Shepparton and Albury-Wodonga. Please check the V/Line Timetable for further details.

NSW Country Link services Seymour linking NSW and Sydney to Seymour with 2 daily services. You must request Seymour as your stop when booking XPT tickets. We recommend checking the NSW Country link timetable for departure and arrival times and a full services list.
