Seymour has a rich and diverse History, it’s what makes Seymour such a special place to live and visit. Seymour was established as “The New Crossing Place” in 1839 on the Melbourne/Sydney route on the banks of the Goulburn River. By 1843 Seymour was established and since then has developed a rich history of railway industry and military activity, but that isn’t all Seymour is about, we invite you to read a little bit more.
