Celebrate #VINTAGE2020 with Sam Plunkett & Bronwyn Dunwoodie at Seymour’s Urban Winery

Wine x Sam has become a flurry of activity as grapes begin to arrive from the vineyards and we’re looking forward to see what 2020 Vintage produces.

Join us this Labour Day weekend, Saturday March 7 for an afternoon of all things wine.

The days festivities will include:

*Grape Stomping*
Do it for the gram, roll up your pants and jump feet first into some juicy grapes. (But bring a change of clothes!)

Indulge yourself, tickets are all inclusive of wine and grazing table! Made up of Milawa cheeses, local meats and all the great tapas you can imagine.

We’ve been busily pressing grapes, have a taste of some freshly pressed wine (aka juice) straight from the press.

Ever wonder how wine is produced? Now’s your chance to have a first hand look with a Plunkett.

The Nagambie Lakes Community Market is located in the centre median strip immediately adjacent to the main shopping precinct right in the heart of the beautiful Nagambie township. Operating on the first Saturday of each month plus extra markets to coincide with community and tourism events, the market runs with the aim of providing market visitors with a wide range of products and services in a family friendly environment for all to enjoy.

The Avenel Market is located in the picturesque Jubilee Park in Avenel only 10 minutes from Seymour, accessible by road and rail. Join us at this iconic country market each month to support local makers, farmers and our community. Avenel Market is on the Second Sunday of the Month. The Avenel Market is also working towards VFMA accreditation

The museum features a unique railway built on two-foot (610 mm) gauge on a zig-zag formation to gain the maximum height within the shortest distance. The railway journey features a short trip including steep grades and tight curves with panoramic views of the Tallarook Ranges to take your breath away at ‘Summit Station The railway and museum has been developed by a group of dedicated volunteers over a fifteen year period and is a not for profit incorporated body and has been open to the public since 2007.

The Nagambie Farmers’ Market @ Tahbilk is only 15 minutes drive from Seymour through beautiful Victorian countryside. The Nagambie Farmers’ Market is VFMA accredited. Join us at our wonderful market at the historic Tahbilk Winery. Held on the fourth Sunday of each month between 10:00am and 2:00pm. We’ve sourced the best local produce from our region including fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, milk, eggs, butter, bread, cheese, pork, beef, lamb, fish, chicken, goat, wine, beer, olives, olive oil, chocolate, ice-cream, pies, pastries, flour, jams, preserves and much more.
